About

Born and raised in Southern California, I’m a mother of two, attempting to relate to my faith.  As a new mother, working woman and a reform Jew, it’s hard to find time to fit Judaism into my life.  One thing I do know, there must be mitzvah magic in all of the work and sacrifices a mother makes every day.  I’m hoping that in chronicling my journey at mommellah.com and facebook.com/Mommellah, I gain support (from moms, rabbis, friends and strangers) and reach a new level of spiritual awareness that connects me to Judaism.

I hope that even mothers that are not Jewish can look at my Facebook page and be inspired to be a little more spiritual in their day to day lives and to know that being a mother can connect you to a higher power.
